Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

What's making you smile today?

They kept that launch fairly low profile. I suppose after the previous aborted attempts it’s not surprising.

[Yep!

And I bet it's felt like a long few months and 50 years to NASA. They'll look sick if when they finally land on the moon (a couple more missions) the discover it was all filmed in the Nevada Desert in the 1970s after all... ;-) ]

I remarked to Jigs yesterday that Jeremy Hunt walks as if he has wooden legs and reminds me of a puppet, watching the BBC breakfast interview just now Hunt was having problems with his ear piece, a pair of hands reached across and repositioned it, absolutely making him look more like a puppet 😂🤣

Finished the Private Eye crossword in time to submit it for prize draw entry. It's quite a rare thing for me.
