Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Television, especially Glee, with the exception of University Challenge and QI (although I was annoyed that QI XL is the same bloody programme with some shit bits left in)
"Emergency" plumbers, the only emergency being that if they don't fleece my dad quick their bank balance may fall below 12 squillion quid
The price of staying warm in one's own house (we don't all like energy-efficient hobbit houses with their UPVC and head-height ceilings, and some of us have houses with no cavity wall thanks)
Clay soil - fuck off
Squirrels nicking all the fat and seeds I left out for the birds
Cats that take a dump in my garden - air rifle required I think
Dog owners who seem to think it's OK to leave dog shit where it is if there's snow and ice on the ground
Dog owners on the canal, who wouldn't know what a poop scoop was even if I shoved it up their arses

The phrase "to grind one's gears" is pretty annoying.
