Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

People who can't park in one space and feel the need to use two, just because they have a brand new car :-(

Somebody did that in Sainsbury's car park on Christmas Eve, Sazzahazza (I was only there because it turned out my parents were short a turkey, gave up driving round in circles and went somewhere with a bigger car park in the end).

I was driving down an empty road at 6.00 am on Sunday when I passed a speed check saying that I was doing 45 mph in a 30 mph zone, and I was doing 30 mph as well - only to then look in my rear view mirror to see someone appear from nowhere and virtually driving in my boot.

Speed limits don’t apply at 6am Phil, especially on a Sunday

My friend got done a couple of years ago when we were diverted off the M3 on the way to the airport and he hadn't spotted the speed change down to 40mph. :-p

Conversely, people doing fucking 45mph in the outside lane of the A12.

Oh indeed. Encountered someone doing 60 in the middle lane of the M6 Toll. Beats me why you’d pay extra to go the same speed the toll-free road goes, never mind why you’d do it anywhere but the inside lane.

I'd already endured miles upon miles of "roadworks" on the M4 with 50mph speed limit. Lots of cones etc but NO human beings or machinery doing anything at all. Which is another thing that grinds my gears.
