Winter cycling gloves and leggings from Decathlon. They look really warm and comfortble and I canno aait to go home to try the out. Also a head torch so that I can look especially ridiculous on winter runs in the Arctic.

Bottle cages, free ones. Now this is the end of a very long process of complaining about a pedal that broke in the summer and getting fobbed off and getting free stuff that was not the right item etc etc. I got a voucher and some other things (actually I've done ok from the deal)

So today a man brought a box to the door; I knew it should have two bottle cages in it. Ridiculously expensive (free to me!) things that I wouldn't buy myself. But the box was heavy and these things (Topeak "shuttle CB") weigh 20g each, including the screws so I thought it was the wrong box. It wasn't, it had loads of Haribo as packing; which is nice.

We've just had Nespresso delivery! :-)

Just love that Indriya (sp?), the grey-green capsule anyhow!

I have just ordered a waist belt and elasticated lead for Domino (a 3 year dalmatian that we rescued several months ago). He can pull for England and now built him ready for a 30 mile run next Sunday. Hoping it arrives in time so that he can run more freely on waist lead and possibly pull me from the waist rather that my shoulder!

I would let him run free, but even with a muzzle on he is hooligan when he sees another dog of any size!

Popped back to Decathlon for some fluffy black winter running tights and a new running jacket in bright yellow. There was a nicer black version of the jacket but I decided that running in the dark all winter and suffering a generalised shortage of passable sidewalks in winter, yellow probably makes more sense. Both for 30 euros. Love Decathlon! (I'm upgrading from my current sports-direct versions - the seam of the jacket is coming away but I am not complaining after 4 years and having only paid a tenner.)

Not today, but forgot to report a few weeks back:

- Garmin 10 Going for light and simple now, after using a 210 before but never doing anything much with the HRM readings; just want to know pace and distance, really.

- OMM Kamleika (!) Love it, Quite a splurge for me, but seems to be doing the job.
