Minnie Mince-Pie Mad
What with Stripey still being a kitten really he usually brings us a nice plump juicy leaf in, although yesterday he brought us a primrose plant, root and all, that he dug up at the bottom of the garden! He hasn't quite got the hang of this hunting malarky yet! ;)

We get lots of leaves - nothing that previously had a pulse since we lost Amber!

We haven't had anything lately (thankfully). Our little one has managed to catch a couple of wood pigeons a couple of months ago, which was quite impressive as they are about as big as he is! Will probably get nothing till spring now.

He brought a tiny mouse home this morning. It was alive he legged it and Molly my 16 year old cat
Just sat there looking at it and sniffed it as it scurried passed her It ran under the washing machine in the utility room and after 10 mins of me dragging it out I realised it had escaped in the hole in wall with the pipes that lead to back garden !! Then I realised how filthy it was under wash machine so swept and mopped it ! So it came in handy !!

Had a headless pigeon the other morning. Husband found him eating the head Gross

Cyclops
Sherlock brings in moths and daddy long legs most evenings which she terrorises and then eats. Today she brought in a dead bird (don't know if she killed it though).

My cats are much too old for hunting now thank goodness, but one of them once disembowelled a mouse on our dining room floor. While it was still alive. While we were eating. When we had guests over :)

Fortunately the two I have now don't catch nowt............not even the 8-legged monsters, which I loved them for, even if I did find the occasional leg. Had a fit after putting jeans on the other day and hairy 8-legged beasty ran out of them. Cats not earning their keep!

Two of mine are fluffy, and seem to get slugs stuck in their fur, which then dry out. It's easier to remove a dessicated slug than a freshly-acquired one. Haven't had anything worse than that for a long time.
