Velociraptor
Our cats seem to have enticed a little black cat to come visiting.

I must have a word with it. The last time a little black cat took a shine to my boycats' food bowl, one of them caught it in the act and chased it under the wheels of a car. It was a cute little thing, too :(

Revenge !!!!! Cats inner eye lids are covering his eyes. Took him to bets and its due to a stomach infection. No doubt too many mice, water voles and birds.

Previous two tortoiseshell and white cats brought home a vast selection of goodies, including:

tortie no 1 -

*teabags (many)
*beefburger (slightly past its best)
*chicken leg (trouble with living next to a holiday house - nobody took precautions against cat burglars)
*head and shoulders and possibly down to the waist of a fresh salmon (oops) which was then stashed under the settee. Ever tried to retrieve half a salmon that's staring at you as you crawl under a settee?

tortie no 2 -

*various cat toys from any house in the neighbourhood with a cat flap. Tried to return them. Also ate food whilst in there...
*a bird (probably already deceased when acquired) which was eaten up, with happy crunching noises, except for the feet while I sweated in bed with evil proper 'flu. *barf*

Possibly both -

*One live and indignant blackbird, which sat on the doormat and swore at the would-be predators until rescued by us...

Currently have two completely different torties. Presents so far consist of, um, flies? Mostly eaten, occasionally abandoned. Little plastic twiggles which previously attached tags to clothes (think she fishes them out of the bin). Next door's tortoiseshell cat, cornered in the yard (she now stays on top of the wall). And next-door-the-other-way's tiny tabby let one of her frogs - she catches them down at the allotments - escape, and the poor thing crawled under our gate and died in our garden... :-(

I've cried at some of the stories on here, and cried with laughter at a lot of the others. Our furry fiends do add something to life.

Incidentally, one of the current ones pees in the bath/basin when she can't be arsed to walk downstairs to her litte rtray. We've learned to live with it, and she's learnt that the poo doesn't go anywhere, so she's given up on that one. Cats - gotta love them. Only alternative is to turn them into mittens. ;-)

'Litter tray'. Space in the wrong place. Incidentally, still trying to work out how tortie no 1 got half a salmon through the cat-flap. Very clever cat - when we stupidly put the lid the wrong way on the litter tray (not me!) she kicked a new bag of litter over and scratched holes in it until she had enough to use. Bizarrely brilliant - current cats would not bother! Not when ther's a basin, a bath or a floo available. Sigh.

'there' and 'floor'. I miss auto-correct on this computer - who'd-a-thunk-it?
