The Fetch database contains 168 million miles of running, 85 million miles of cycling and 41 million miles of swimming! (from a recent email). That's an awful lot of swimming. |

That can’t be right on the swimming. Not many swim more than 500 miles in a year

AH! This borders on a Smell in-joke. You'd be amazed how many people log 40 lengths of their local pool as 400 miles rather than 400 metres. It adds up. And makes a mockery of the swim league. You'll be up there near the top then someone logs a 1,500 mile swim and everyone gives up while Fetch tries to sort it out. |

[The other common error seems to be is swims logged as hours:minutes rather than minutes:seconds. There is at least, a Fetch warning now if you try to log a swim of more than ~10km, although some seem to ignore it.]
