Just how big a whole salmon is when you buy it chopped up into pieces in a tray. Had to defrost and re-arrange the freezer.

Nothing planned, it was reduced to £13 and I couldn't resist it. Portioned it up into 6 meals worth, plus a load of belly, which I suspect will be done in a Japaneses style

I got a load of whole salmon reduced to a silly price in Booths one year. I almost regretted it after spending half a day up to the eyeballs in heads, tails, fins, scales and tinfoil, but it was worth the effort.
