We have got a dead Thing in our loft. I found it today when I was retrieving presents to wrap. I didn't look too closely but it was small and furry. I hope that a) it's a mouse not a rat and b) that it doesn't have a live family elsewhere in the loft.

To escape an attack by Africanised Honey Bees, one should run in a straight line, ideally into a head wind, covering your face but not slowing down.
You should not get into water. They will only wait until you come up for air.

The Righteous Brothers hit "Unchained Melody" is not, as I'd always thought, a rather poetic and romantic title. It was a song written to order for a US TV prison drama called "Unchained" and was actually rather unimaginatively titled.
