What do you expect a new marathon to organise before taking entries?

Genuinely want to be fair. sincere happy friendly face. I'd love to see a the option of a half in that area and to be fit enough to do it in a couple of years.

Course would take some working out - we get enough complaints with the Dash and having marshalled the Leeds half as well, there's whinging about that as well. It's vitally important to get to Morrison's at 10am on a Sunday morning, see! They've picked the worst possible date - it clashes with both the 3 Peaks and Manchester Marathon - why they didn't go for late May (e.g. Edinboro weekend), I don't know, they'd have more interest then.

I'd even miss the Greater Manchester Marathon, that goes passed the end of my road, if it clashed with a "home" marathon in Leeds
