Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

yours is the best Hanneke :)
I failed my usual ones and broke my streak this year after falling over in November - but I'm ok with it and retiring in december so
run 1500 miles for the year
1000 walking miles with my whippets :)
run 100 miles a month
loads of trips in the motorhome with some new races on the way

so much to look forward to :)

Afternoon tea somewhere nice
My eldest son took his mum to afternoon tea at The Langham in London earlier in the week and she absolutely loved it and has been bragging to all her friends about how great it was. Possibly the shock of being allowed to see his flat and seeing him smartly dressed were factors though. I think he'd looked at the Dorchester, Claridges etc. and decided the Langham looked better.

And thanks to cackleberry for alerting me to the Northern Traverse. I'd been toying with the idea of running the C2C, but as a solo/ self-supported thing. Hadn't occurred to me that there would be an an organised event. Interested to follow along to see how you get on.

Cerrertonia - I'd looked at it solo/with a mate but adding up accommodation and logistics was a nightmare! Plus asking our respective OH's to be on 'standby' for ages; it just wasn't going to work.

I've wanted to enter the Northern Traverse since it first started a few years ago, it's taken me this long to save up!!
I'll put the tracker link on the Ultra thread closer the time...

Not running related but I really want to get put up a pay grade. For a number of years I have been working above my pay grade, I have been trying to apply but my team leader doesn't seem to want to help. I have had enough and I am going to push this through.

Running related, I am aiming for my 100th parkrun on my birthday (it's a big birthday).

I also want to try a marathon, my first since 2018 and having a child.

My usual 1000 or more miles.
