Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr)
I'm still in. I was in a Morrisons, a big one so couldn't get round quickly, and something like Jona Louie or Paul McCartney or something came on. I heard sleigh bells... close one. Got it safely though.

Still in. :-) G

Some dubious scouse house playing in the gym brought Day 6 to a Wham-free conclusion. :)

Near miss when passing through reception at work. Apparently it was on the radio 2 mins before I came out to look for my visitor.

I'm still in.

Sorry forgot to update yesterday.

So after 2 days at work I am still in.

I'm a little surprised but very pleased that I've managed to make it through.

Impressed that Smooth Radio (only station you can get in the special care nursery) does not appear to be playing Xmas music.

I also hid the Xmas CD before the ward clerk came in this morning.

(I blamed the unit Elf on the Shelf)

So I survive to Day 7.

Still in one piece - I've hardly heard any music all day. I think Morrison's had it off for once this evening.

(Dooogs nope. Elfie gets up to his high jinx at night and I've been on days. He just gets blamed for everything in Dec.
Assisting Elfie in his mischief seems to be one of the night shift team leader jobs. I'll be needing ideas for suitable shenanigans next Mon/Tue)

Sheet for 2024 is on the first tab; you update your own entry. As with previous years, we're also tracking the number of repeated 'hits' for those who are out before the end (if you want to).

Who's up for the challenge then? whamageddon.com

"The 1st Rule
The objective is to go as long as possible without hearing WHAM's Christmas classic; "Last Christmas".

The 2nd Rule
The game starts on December 1st, and finishes at the end of December 24th.
Use your local timezone, if you'd like.

The 3rd Rule
Only the original version applies.

The 4th Rule
You're out as soon as you recognise the song.

Player vs Player?
While we can't stop you from deliberately sending your friends to Whamhalla, the intention is that this is a survival game. Not a Battle Royale. So ... don't be a dick, okay?"
