There's the Rhymney River I guess, if all else fails. But do you know of any commercial venues? There's also Park Bryn Bach - but they don't seem to be open right now for swimming, because of the you know what.
Sweetie May 2021 4:12pm, 25 May 2021 9,764 posts	0 Sweetie I'm aware of Keeper's Pond, Blaenavon but I've never been so can't personally vouch for it (if you go, let me know!) I'm based further west and there are local rivers and places like llyn y fan fach which are supposedly OK for wild swimming but I've never seen other swimmers there so I drive an hour to North Dock, Llanelli. It's not the most picturesque but completely free (aside from £1 for parking) and always has loads of other swimmers there, probably a bit of a stretch from Rhymney though!
