It is usually much easier to chop them up beforehand - makes transporting them a bit messier though!
It's hard to guage how much room we'll have - I'll bag as much as I can and we can always shrink it to fit if there aren't many of us.

Anyone else likely to get there nice and early in case I miss the first train- or it turns into a bus again

I know Brighton Marathon organiser works with Network Rail to avoid engineering works on the day, so I wonder if VLM do the same?

they don't seem to - this is the first year since 2013 that the first train has run - and it's stopping at Finsbury park instead of KX.

Looks like FP to KX then Bank on the northern line then dlr to shadwell is my only working option!
it's going to be bedlam going back!

I’m a bit worried about the weight and walking on my foot. If it is stormy there may be less people about. Hoping they are mostly over by Sunday though

I'm doing KX to Monument then district to Tower Hill. I get into KX 9:20 and will get to FP as soon as I can.
I have oranges, mini cheddars, bananas and a few strawberries

Looks like I'll have WAT to London Bridge, then Bank, then Shadwell. According to tfl I should get there about 9.18.

I think we have enough plastic boxes, I'll chop them up I think.

My earliest train gets there at 075?, later than usual as it's stopping everywhere, so I'll arrive around 0830.
