i was thinking about applying for charity place through help for heroes but i dont think they have any as they arent featured on the list of people to apply with and really dont think i want the stress of fundraising!

H4H don't do charity places, you have to have your own ballot place to raise money for them.

Help fro Heros don't have bond places, I remember seeing them in the docu on London Mara that was on earlier this year. You can run for them if you have a ballot place, but that's it.

And then there are club places... our club gets 3 and last year we had 4 that wanted them and one dropped out. So guaranteed entry via our club. *worries about deluge of new joiners to our wee club here in suburban Scoootland* :-)G
