I even miss going to the office and a year ago I'd have killed to be able to work from home!! Not that I want to have to commute everyday again or anything, but would be good to have the option to go and meet up with people.

We do/did still enjoy a visit to browse, and also to Decathlon, which we discovered in France on a long ago camping holiday. It was a revelation!

I found that the best of both worlds - no regular commute, but some socialising. I agree with you that after so long I'm even missing things I don't particularly like. Even a supermarket shop would be exciting, after having done on-line grocery shopping only for ten months.

A supermarket shop would be exceptionally exciting! Haven't been in one for probably about a year as OH does all the shopping at the moment as I'm so busy working.

I used to go to the local supermarket on the way back from the school run every day! I don’t go every day now but I usually go every other day or so, depending how well organised I am.
