Well worth the effort you put in!

My OCT time was dragging me up last year simply because it was a number in a box. Can't remember what time it equated to over the marathon but probably similar.

It won me a prize too, in spite of being more than 2 hours outside my PB - fastest aggregate time for a VM50 across the series of 3 races. (And also the slowest VM50 aggregate time across the series, as there were no other people in the category :-) )

Have people had issues with their runs not registering on UTMOST?

I ran a 5 mile time trial on Saturday and it should have registered. I have a horrible feeling that it must have measured just short and so isn't showing.

Any tips much appreciated.

Doesn't UTMOST take both Garmin training entries AND race times as manually entered in your Race Portfolio? Have you logged a race with a time and as "official PB course" or whatever the flag is? :-) G

It was an at home time trial round the block. I ran in km’s so it’s always got the potential to get muffed. But I did just over 8k and it shows as 5.00 miles on here.

Your UTMOST times update pretty immediately post run?

The only time I'd had runs (or rides) not register is when they're been short of the distance - or if there's a stretch where there's no GPS (e.g. in a tunnel).
The training screen rounds to 2 decimal places - so "5.00" could be anywhere between 4.995 and 5.004 - so it may depend on how "just over" 8k your watch thinks you ran.

Yeah it came onto fetch as 5.00 but I fear it’s 4.995.

Bad luck @Cheg That’s really annoying.

Remarkably I appear to have been promoted to the dizzying heights of WAVA Div 7, from whence I will most likely be rapidly demoted next Monday 😁

It’s ok. I’ll have to get out for a 10k and pick up a 5 miles and 10k time. Otherwise it will be relegation for me.

About This Thread

Maintained by fetcheveryone
Start in the bottom division, and compete over seven different distances against your rivals for weekly promotion!

How It Works
1) The game takes your best times from training and racing over the last 12 months.

2) If you've got the fastest 5k in your division, you get 20 points. If you're second fastest, you get 19 points, etc.

3) Your FIVE best scores are used to calculate your total. So if your scores at each distance are 20,20,20,20,20,10,5 the lowest two are discarded, and your total points would be 100.

4) Promotion and relegation happen every Monday at midday.
