Lol! It is the herb building that is costing so much more that is making me broke! I am only alloing myself spend on that and food for myself and the animals...

Are you still using Garmin Training Centre Hann? Off Roader still uses that with her watch and connects to Fetch via weekly tcx files. (could be daily or every activity, that's just what she prefers)

I tried opening that and use with the 301 but it doesn't work. I have to download a server onto the laptop and I cannot find a server that works anywhere.

If I still had the even older laptop, with the 301 server on it, it would probably work but nothing wants to talk to the 301.

Maybe ask if anyone has an old Garmin going spare? I have a FR225 I was going to offer you but I am not sure it's charging at the moment :-( If I get it working I will let you know.

What server does it want Hann? GTC is standalone. Or is a driver for the 301 you need on the pc?

Driver for 301 on the computer...
I don't have a driver for my 800 either but that is new enough to work as an external hd and doesn't need one. Laptop doesn't want to acknowledge 301, just says cannot find driver.
I tried downloading the driver but although you can find the manual, drivers no longer exist.

I found a couple of options Hann.
Is it a 301 Forerunner?
This one, I think, may be a generic Garmin driver www8.garmin.com

Or this one, if you trust 'Dricer Guide' (or have good anti-virus SW) driverguide.com

Or a foretrex? If so, I see a deluge of other support & driver / garmin express type links. I'll have a hunt if needed.
