Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

that's an even better tip DT.

I have converted my wife to running and she has supported me (sometimes reluctantly) on some of my longer runs but now she is more interested in her own training plans and races...and she refuses to go beyond 13 miles.

Our 'first date' was a seven hour run in the Dales from Kettlewell. Start as you mean to go on heart

Oops, thought I was on the 1500 thread. 4.6 miles isn't going to excite anyone on an ultra training thread. *embarrassed icon* - oh, there isn't one! It's a cut back week, fgs. Even ultra plans have those! :-P Back to 12 + 24 mile back to backs next week, honest! :-)G

This was the first picture of me my wife ever saw.

Did it for her for some reason.

Become an ultra runner and your terrible afflictions actually become babe magnets.

Thanks for the tips guys I was going to do Tanners 30 but bottled it for the 20 (I'm glad though ;-) )

Would like to do a nice 50k in prep but can't find any but might do a marathon with warm up.

I am however doing the lovely Enigma Ultra 30 in July come on down for a laugh :-)
