Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You could leave a car at Frosts and start /finish from there, or by the green in Beeston and start where the start of the route is

mulbs/ Frobester - GeeeM has great advice there.

IMO too many miles can lead to injury (for me anyway) and I like to take it easy in between long races. I peak in my mileage 3 weeks before a race so I can have a nice long taper and feel really in the mood for running. If you are interested these are my plans until June:

15th Mar D33 (33 miles) Flat
26th Apr Highland Fling (53 miles) Hilly
21st Jun West Highland Way Race (95 miles) Hilly

I plan to build up after D33 to Fling by doing a 20+ miler on 5th April then taper again to 26th.
After Fling take it easy until WHW. Maybe a couple of 20+ milers. My only worry is my ITB niggle which increases with too much too fast on road so I will try to run on hills/ trails.

it's the 5th Sept event that lurks at the end of all that!

Mind the Zion 100 sounds great too. My sister lives in Nevada and I love running out there (not in summer though!)
