Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

It might have been me Paul. Great bit of kit that punch’s above it’s weight in terms of warmth and with a good hood too

yep, love my Alpkit microfleece too.
Also have a Montane zipped hoodie - protium lite ?? that was an OK price being last year or yr before's colour, which I could happily 'live' in.

I’ve got one of these in a kind of paprika / dried blood colour. No hood though. It’s warm but half a size too small or I’ve got half a size too big

I've got two of them @paulcook - might have been me that suggested it. But strangely don't tent to run in them anymore - maybe I should start again. However was looking for something a bit warmer, which is why I've been looking at the OMM Core.

I had to argue it was a micro fleece at Fellsman - they weren't happy, saying it was too micro!

I think Alpkit borrowed the hood design from a gimp suit though.

I think Fellsman kit check scared me more than the race. Well no, but ... Have to say the fella who checked mine seemed so laid back so I had zero problems or questions about any of the kit. He nearly passed my tiny windshell as a fully taped waterproof.

I don't run in it that much but it's so handy to have in the bag just in case and, therefore right now, it also doubles up as something very warm when I get the train back home after training in the hills.

Got something to say?
