I got one from Amazon Pix - go for orange as they’re the most visible in the water

Super sprint Tri-d. A clusterfuck, but an AG win. Arrived late, and found I’d left the crack pipe to inflate my rear disc at home. Inflated my front which was at 45psi so had to ride the rear at similar. Swim, 7:08 steady but really got held in traffic as you tap feet but have to wait to end of lane to pass. Some fumbling in T1. I was cranking it on the bike, then misread a Marshall’s signals and turned left instead of right….had to scream to a halt and u turn. Long stretch of new chip seal which felt ok on 45psi. 30:31 bike. T2 ok, then blasted out 2 mile run which was amazingly hilly, 13 mins. Forgotten how much these little blasts hurt, not sure I quite dialled into the required intensity - 4 years since last sprint Tri. Overall 53:13, 9th o/a and despite captain cock up turning up won M50-59 by over 2 mins. Nice result, but will need less errors to challenge at Outlaw half next Sunday. |

Sounds stressful TRO but well done on the AG win. Agree with Frags re: orange for visibility on a tow float. I think they're all pretty much of a muchness so you don't need to pay extra for a branded one. I like my DHB one as I can fit quite a bit of kit in it too - should you ever be swimming from point to point or worried about someone nicking your stuff from the river bank! |

Well done Captain Cockup! I've got a swim secure float - doughnut shape. It's good but the waterproof pouch bit in the middle isn't. Looks like a nice day for OWS, I'll be in the open air pool this week though as I appear to be a wimp at the mo! |
