No you can’t feel them only issue is sometimes in super rough seas they can get thrown in front of you and your hand can catch the attachment rope.

My swim buoy is by New Wave and it’s lumo yellow. It has a dry bag as well as the inflatable section. Useful for a pair of flat water shoes (or sandals) and my phone. Phone also goes into a separate waterproof phone-pouch.

I don’t feel mine, certainly. I’ve got so many dry bags already that I’m forcing myself not to buy a buoy with one built in. I leave my valuables with the duty guard at Tri Farm when I’m swimming there.

I seem to get tangled in mine a lot, but apart from that agree it doesn't add drag or anything. I've got zone 3 one from Wiggle, the tow rope bit splits into two and becomes backpack straps. |
