Morning Athletes
Busy weekend of supporting rugby, dancing and scouting. Couple of very proud Dad moments on Saturday as Jamie played a significant part in the Colts' 67-0 win over the visiting Alloa/Kelpies team. I'm not sure I was ever as good as he has become.
A week of early rising looms as MrsC goes back to work in the office
Have an appointment with Mr Judgy, as the bathroom scales have come to be known. Wish me  (although I don't really deserve it).

After the mud bath of cross country came the good news of results, last race of the year and shows how my training is prioritised to duathlon, I had good run legs.
My trip to Goodwood was a "windout" it was just dangerous so scrapped the ride, came home and did nearly 3hrs on the watt bike :¬)
Here we are in another week and I'm light, feel fit and my first duathlon is in 2 weeks....

More running than for a long time on Saturday, including my fastest parkrun since it came back. Also only the second time I've run without a dog since...Obvs it's my consistent S+C rather than not having to stop and start for various reasons on the way
Hamstring behaved too, although it is grumbly now sitting at a desk. Clearly I just need to do less of that!

Greetings.
Swim run and core done. Swim was a hard 2.6k, run was hilarious in 50mph wind along the promenade. Core was boring.
Currently February repulse-filth out there, February is doing its thing this year. Fairly sure last year February was ok, then all sorts of misery happened in March and April. I’d settle for the reverse of last year….
