A) civil service permanent contract that means they cannae sack me easily on health grounds, then take a month off following a total breakdown and stage a very gradual return during which everyone has chance to feel my absence.

ii) I befriended a brigadier General, who seems to have made a strong argument in favour of everyone else being nice to me. I'm unsure how many people he has previously killed. That and the fact I'm a pacifist are the two things we never talk about.

ɣ) I think I pissed off one of the seniors I work to so much that she was prepared to move heaven and earth to get herself a new PA. She's surprisingly capable of doing things when sufficiently motivated, just not really any of the things she was put in this post for...

So there you go, a relatively simple three step process :)

There’s no way that a bootneck brigadier hasn’t killed a bunch of bad guys along the way. The only question really is how many with his bare hands?! ;)
