Morning all.
Jogette failed to materialise last night (a second dog walk was had, at least, but that hardly gets the heart rate up), and I'm unsure if team training is a good idea this evening.
Feeling less than optimistic about the coming season, to be honest.
Even if it's not officially called off, full contact with a range of people from across the country can't be a brilliant idea in the face of a highly contagious and apparently often asymptomatic sneaky bastard like covid.
Also wondering if we'll be allowed into Belgium for the Bear trail at the end of the end of next month or not.
yah boo sucks to the lot of it, I say.

TRO Saracen
Yes gloomy indeed. Is Parkrun going to restart end October? Surely not now. Seeing 2021 races hit the buffers regularly now and more impacts will hit once various bodies reflect on the announcement on Monday and the direction of travel.
Looks like 6 months of Tuesday pain caves and flayings on Zwift due to my race incompetence....
....which is no bad thing.

No it isn't TRO. Was always odd that they thought they could restart with no changes IMO. Given no other races were happening properly, I'd have imagined parkrun was likely to get more people looking to run if they were the only race activity allowed!

I only do XC in the winter so definitely don't need time target racing but it's still nice to race and test fitness every so often. I don't really want to do training TTs in the winter but that could change.

After my marathon disaster my run mojo left faster than my legs.
The joy of HC being very solo means my season should happen.
Winter of Pain and zwift - well that is that

Advantage of multi sport for sure. Maybe I should try a HC with slicked up MTB if there's no racing over the next few months.
Thinking of doing runs somewhere like Malvern where the terrain is the test rather than speed.
