Take care Frag
Have had my first differing of opinion on the Zwift TTT . We were joined by a smash it hero who believes everyone should just go yeah ha and if spat unlucky.
Not really A smart or B nice but hey obviously blowing people in your own team up must ne good for the ego.

Morning Coach, Frag, all. I wonder if he ever played WoW? I loved it back in the day but there was always at least on dick in every party so I ended up soloing everything for the sake of my ‘fun’ over ‘achievement’.
I know Zwift and WoW aren’t the same thing but in a way they actually are.

It just dawned on me that Thursday tennis coaching last night - a group of ten plus Derek the head coach - was the most people I’ve interacted with all at once in half a year.

Morning Team. Sorry to hear your trouble Frags.
Busy busy day today. Got to fit everything around taking the Young Lad to the orthodontist at midday (80 miles, 2 hours round trip).
Deep joy!

Yay for two wheeled escapism, though Frags, right? I never particularly liked very crowded places, am not at all looking forward to having to endure them again - whenever that might happen. I guess the game on Saturday was quite a lot of people, but not that many of them were very near me at any given time.
(I was going to say that a university full of students sounded like hell, then I remembered I just applied for a job at Tilburg, so... go me with the joined up thinking. I doubt I'll get it, though)
Rugby last night was excellent. This afternoon I shall see if the lake is still open and go for a restorative swimble, possibly even in neoprene (if it fits).

Hopefully it will pass Frag. Keep those bikes up, they’ll help.
We struggled on the TTT last night; our A+ kept pulling away on the draggy climbs but always backed off when we called out. But then probably wasn’t pulling as hard as usual on the flats when the rest of us could have hung on. Lost one at the start and I dropped on the draggy one on lap 2, lots is surges which is never great for me.
Wattage done, swimmage later.
Double TT at the W/e, sporting 10 sat pm and a 25 Sunday am. 25 is new for me and it’s a newish course also, only been around a couple of years on a new road. Word is it’s pretty quick, it’s certainly dragged out the usual E2 crowd and closed on short 55.

Interested to hear about Sunday TRO
We have had a proper exchange on facebook about last night. May be the end of the road for me , maybe not but destroying the team is not how I want to ride.

AA, and thanks for your kind words
feeling a bit less stressed today - though in typical 'I've just gone back to work' style, I now have a sore throat and a budding sinus headache. FFS. apart from that I'm fine with no cough or fever etc, so bog std cold.
lengthy bath and G&T, and back into exercise of some form tomorrow .

Evening. Watted, ran, fettled the TT and an hour’s spin this evening.
Tweaked the position, narrower - not one for twisty courses or long TTs but hoping it’ll fly on the straight fast TTs (F2A Sunday, B25/8 next Sunday, E2/25 Saturday after that).
Wish I had a couple of fast 10s still to go at.
