I went for a swim at the weekend. Apart from the payment transaction at the entrance there was no risk of contamination, there were only three of us in the pool: two swimmers and a lifeguard.

Good Evening,

A short run a bit over 5k and a 1k swim, All group activities/classes have been cancelled at the leisure centre, only the leisure waters, competition pool and the gym are opening to the general public.

Swam today in a very peaceful pool at lunchtime. A lane each and one lifeguard. Happy days. Don't suppose it will last tho' :-(

Ran 7.5 miles on mostly canal and saw 4 people walking dogs, no runners and no cyclists, last mile is main road and saw plenty of cars and 3 people at a bus stop together.

If isolation and restricted movement save us all but the world systematically falls apart it puts the world leaders in a very tricky position.

For reasons too stupid to mention I had to cycle into work today. The roads were very quiet, as were the pavements, which is unusual for Cambridge.
