Allo allo allo, what's going on 'ere then?

Rug has been well and truly by-ed, a bumper 2.5hr session as we've now introduced an extra 30 minutes at the start for newbies and a friend from work has decided to come along. Then some big hitting full contact drills and mini games. I'm getting better at driving through rather than folding like a deckchair, and even managed to take some of the more established first team forwards down once or twice :D

Also tried jumping in the lineout for the first time.

I'm not a natural jumper, more of a thrower in or a lifter.

Zwifted this afty. Week 1 Foundation phase of a 6-week FTP Builder training plan. It looks pretty coherent to my semi-tutored eye and it’s certainly got me interested again.

Swum swimmed.

Why is it that so few people can accurately place their relative speeds? One in the 'middle' lane today barely moving, several in the 'fast' lane that I overtook doing breaststroke. Madness.

Morning.
Bingo'd yesterday, swim last night was going well with everyone suitable lanes for their pace and then a woman got into the fast lane doing some sort of vertical breaststroke / walking. Cue a scene from Mike Reid's Runaround (but with water) while everyone adjusted to more suitable lanes.

Foggy runnage for me last night. The new running light that Mrs Nico got me for Christmas* just seemed to bounce off the fog and created a strange glowing halo around me. It was like I was the Ready brek kid :-)

* It's a chest mounted thing, with lights front and back. Bit like putting on a shoulder holster (or a bra :-0)
