PDCJ checking in and a confession.

Many of you will have noticed I have been on my MTB quite a bit recently and last month was nearly 60 hours on the bike so here it is.

I'm doing Mountain Mayhem this weekend in the 24hr solo single speed category !!

Could you add please Gerp ?- Saturday and Sunday

Indeed TRO - since the end of my ultra career I have resisted going long, no TT over 57 miles , a handful of rides over 100 miles and them this happened. I have done pairs and teams for 24hrs but .....

Prep has happened, late rides , early rides but really have no idea what will happen after 12 hours.

Hope the weather is your friend. I've never been beyond 12 hours, and only once gone through the night (12 hour Dusk dill Dawn MTB - and that was as a pair). It'll be interesting for sure....

Newmarket is set pretty fair for me Sunday, meanwhile it's supposed to bastard hose down for Ironman Cork on the same day....
