Oooohhhhhh. I’m in Windsor and it’s cold and wet and I’m going to be in that river at 6am. We just saw a guy come off his bike after slipping on a manhole cover. Feeling scared

I noticed they cancelled the swim today at Nottingham because of the adverse weather conditions this week.
11 mile MLR this morning it was dry which was nice for a change, the heart rate was too high for the run and pace but happy to be out running.
going bowling later which should be fun.

Wow! That was ace! The swim was easy - basically just drifting down the river with the current. The bike was fast and mostly flat ( I had a little mechanical but easily fixed) and although the run had some nasty steep bits I managed to keep going and had a strong finish. My son finished his first adult tri too. Will definitely do it again. Off for a lie down now. Thanks for all the encouragement
