Oh and 30 easy Z1 miles last night riding out to club TT, timekeeping and riding back. Made the classic 'it's quite sunny in May therefore warm' error and it was faffing freezing.
Couple of hours riding on - Ride On! - this morning. Cloak of fatigue beginning to descend - usually take Friday as easy day but am taking Saturday easy so switched sessions with Friday. Had to drop the intensity and it was a laboured effort.

Foot of doom is settling down after tweaking it on Saturday, planning to ride outside sometime over the weekend

Yes, proper tricksy April/May weather - not half as warm as it looks.
Might - might- try and do the second half of the North Weald season when I get back from (cycling) holiday in mid-June - might have something resembling bike fitness by then.

I am currently feeling decidedly unenthusiastic about Dorney on Sunday. Apart from anything else Madame has a shoulder issue and is unlikely to be able to swim.

I am light biking and short jogging off today with an open water swim tomorrow morning (my birthday, what a great start), so am ready for the big dance on Sunday
Although sounds as though it may be the slightly smaller dance, hope you and mrs are OK Glennnnnnn
