Morning
I ran a race. Again. Two nights in a row. I was slightly less shit than on Tuesday.

Oh. I only popped in to announce SPR's been swimming. Seems the great man has already been in. As you were.

SWOLF is all about strokes per length in a certain time I believe. I think that's why my SWOLF improves for frontcrawl as I'm faster to swim the length with the same number of strokes.

Morning All. SWOLF is a useful occasional exercise in benchmarking your efficiency. It's less important than getting some tuition/coaching and getting some miles in to build swim-specific strength.

I started swimming regularly back in August 2014. But I've only started seeing tangible improvements over the last three-four months.
So I had to put in over two years to get that foundation.

It would be nice if my frontcrawl was good enough to do aerobic training so I had the option, that would likely need lessons though. My breaststroke is good, only issue is breaststroke can put more strain on the knee so from a runner who swims perspective frontcrawl is better.
Swimming certainly gets the heart rate going so is good aerobic training for the injured.

Morning all, hilly bike-run brick this morning, I hate mornings and I hate brick sessions so it was not my favourite. I am now very hungry. Weight training later
