I will admit to classing my 'slow' or 'easy' not 5k+3 minutes BUT compared to how I used to train it is an improvement. Today I had good intentions of running at 5k+3 minutes BUT experience of my breathing said I wasn't pushing it (or entering the 'grey' zone) so ended up running close to 5k+2 minutes. NOTE: This is 48 hours after running over 25.5 miles. Before when I ran everything no slower than 5k+1:30 minutes I would have been royally f*cked today! |

It's impressive Gobi, but I don't think many of us are capable of running at 55% mhr, assuming that's what you mean.

Good point, well made, Glenn. Having my results back from the Diabetes trial, the only activity that gets my heart rate up is running. Even when I thought I was swimming 'hard' it was still barely at the levels of 'jogging'. |

I can't *walk* at under 55% HRmax (186 for me, so I'd need to walk sub 102). tpks.ws |

Good sirs , let me refer you to the last 2 lines of my post from the previous page specifically the word IGNORE Now I know I can run 8mm for barely 55% so ignore my ultra low but sub 65% and build endurance |
