The Scribbler
Leeds smackdowners, there's a description of how the race/transitions will work on the FAQs page:
leeds.triathlon.org

Still lots of things I'd like to know, but this fills in some gaps until we get the competitor low down.

No leggings was a good call. 66 miles done in short shorts. Seemed to take my turn on the front more than usual though.

A new cyclist cafe has opened up in Roxwell - fyi Greppers & Legs. I had a Yorkshire pastie, which seemed very similar to a cornish one so not sure what the difference is.

Sprint points, hill cliimbs, head winds. All much fun

Finally made it to a PC with fetchaccess and some time.

My Sprint results from Eton D on Monday:

Swim 18:17 (16th out of water)
T1 1:40 (10th)
Bike 34:34 (7)
T2 00:36.5 (3)
Run 22:46 (5)

Shocking, shocking swim. pulled 'something' in my back putting the wet suit on, then swam like a breezeblock, the couldn't get my helmet clip done up.

Then I started to work a bit better.

Week off training this week back hurts and moving house, then the small matter of a race on Sunday

I've been having fun with intervals. Also played on my bike in the wind.
