That's a really good way to look at it, TRO.

OW swim in the lake at Ashington for me last night. Finally got some evening sunshine, but sheesh, that water doesn't get any warmer.
Swam 3 loops of the short course (approx 1k in total) and was in for about 30 mins, which should see me fine for my next two sprint tris. Still have to shut out the occasional chimp in my brain that says 'I can't do this'.

In contrast to TRO. I took my road bike to the club tt as I could not have pushed my fixed gear and I expected to be shit having run the 10km the night before.
Rode 24.30 ish for 311 watts in crap conditions and went home bemused as to how I had the legs to do that.
Today my legs are very sore.
Afternoon all.

Argie has a hood and booties for this - I just don't go - but I do have snorkel-type goggles for very cold water - they work surprisingly well for keeping the face warm.

I didn't have my booties or neoprene hat in my bag as it's sodding June! I did double hat, as I had 2 in my bag which helped a bit.
Hands and feet ok, it was the first 10 minutes of cold face and warming up after that was nasty!
