Wriggling Snake Jul 2020 10:26am, 1 Jul 2020 27,424 posts	0 Wriggling Snake I think this has been said, the best Fish and Chips are had at a time and a place, my favourite ever were from a van, Hunstanton, after we had finished walking the Peddar's Way, and were about to start The North Norfolk Coastal Path the next morning. It had been a boiling hot day,but then, as we were eating there was a huge, freezing onshore breeze, as you get on the East Coast. It was great. There were no peas.

Nobody buys runner beans from a shop when there’s a selection of other vegetables. But any idiot can home grow them. Once home grown, eating them becomes oddly compulsory: ‘I don’t like runner beans’ ‘But they’re home grown’ Worst is when your neighbours pop round to give you their excess, or leave them on your doorstep.
