Dai Bank Jul 2010 12:47pm, 27 Jul 2010 1,729 posts	0 Dai Bank I just found Liggett and Sherwen full of cliches and one contradicting the other but neither seemed to have any clue as to what was going on in front of their eyes. I know that the monitors that they get are small but they spend their lives watching the riders and yet they couldn't identify a rider from the style or the number all too often. It just seemed to me that they were trying to score points off each other. In contrast Boulting, Imlach and Boardman managed to be interesting, something that wasn't there before. I agree that Kelly is difficult to understand but I found him better this last few weeks than ever before, maybe I've just got used to it but I think he has slowed the pace of his speech to make it easier to understand. Frankly he has been there and done it more recently than Sherwen too, has his own Team and still is quick on his bike so can analyse better imho.

Rarely gets overly excited, and is a brilliant spotter of things going on (with who) when Harmon is having to concentrate on just talking. Tour of Poland next week, followed by the fantastically exciting Eneco Tour.

He is only 25, his TT can still be improved and I think that losing his brother Frank early on on Stage 3 affected him more than he let on. Like you say, hopefully there'll be a good Schleck/Contador battle for years to come!

Also was wondering what happened to the devil this year... picture 20 in this set is absolutely wonderful. boston.com
