I just found Liggett and Sherwen full of cliches and one contradicting the other but neither seemed to have any clue as to what was going on in front of their eyes. I know that the monitors that they get are small but they spend their lives watching the riders and yet they couldn't identify a rider from the style or the number all too often. It just seemed to me that they were trying to score points off each other.
In contrast Boulting, Imlach and Boardman managed to be interesting, something that wasn't there before.
I agree that Kelly is difficult to understand but I found him better this last few weeks than ever before, maybe I've just got used to it but I think he has slowed the pace of his speech to make it easier to understand. Frankly he has been there and done it more recently than Sherwen too, has his own Team and still is quick on his bike so can analyse better imho.

I like listening to Kelly, he's someone you need to tune into, but once you have he's brilliant. Rarely gets overly excited, and is a brilliant spotter of things going on (with who) when Harmon is having to concentrate on just talking.

Tour of Poland next week, followed by the fantastically exciting ;-) Eneco Tour.

TD -- I don't believe that Andy Schleck is at his high watermark yet. He is only 25, his TT can still be improved and I think that losing his brother Frank early on on Stage 3 affected him more than he let on. Like you say, hopefully there'll be a good Schleck/Contador battle for years to come!

Agree with TD that Contador's TT was poor rather than Schleck's being great.

Actually the only time trial in teh last 50 riders that was any good was Brad Wiggins, he was the only one to make the top 10 in the last 50, the wind must have had a big effect on that.

Also was wondering what happened to the devil this year... picture 20 in this set is absolutely wonderful.

Didi was there every stage again this year, they just don't give him as much coverage as they used to now he has a sponsor!!

I saw him descending Alpe d'Huez laying on the saddle with his legs out behind him, nutter.

Looks Like 5th for me, there's a gap to the leading 4, but also a gap to all those behind me. P.E. has taken the yellow jersey.

All provisional ATM.
