As pointed out by the commentators, Julian Dean beat Petacchi in that sprint anyway and might have in others if he hadn't been working for Farrar. HTC could try and place more riders in the top 5 (easier said than done), rather than getting them to lead out for Cav, as he showed today he didn't really need it. Or one of them could do a Renshaw ;-).
