Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ah.

I think 'chilli chocolate', 'ginger chocolate' and so on is, broadly, over-rated.

We have a Fox's biscuit assortment on the go, there is currently one plain biscuit left. It has been there for some time; anything with chocolate on was hoovered up in minutes.

I may brutalise them with the devastating delivery of a box of Terry's All Gold. Be like at school when a kid would bring a bag of conkers to school, chuck them in the air and shout 'scramble' just to see the melee that would erupt....

We've had, twice, this week one of those boxes of chocolate biscuits that are on offer in M&S. There's about 15 people in T block. Neither box could have lasted more than 15 minutes.

As far as the G&B selection goes, I'd choose the salted milk chocolate, then the ordinary milk chocolate, then the ones with bits of fruit and nuts in, and give the rest away. Very much not a G&B enthusiast.

We've just done the draw for the boxes of chocs and biscuits and stuff that's been given to the surgery. There was half decent wine and a box of hotel chocolat in there - I got the Quality Street and the family circle - trying not to feel bitter

Everywhere I've worked, the doctors have been excluded from the draw for the Christmas snash. (My box of Dairy Box was a personal gift so I'm going to frame it and take it to my next appraisal instead of eating it.)

I've only had one personal gift this year - it seems to be dying out as a practice with the older generation - that was some Aldi pralines and they are very good

QS. Green Triangles anyday. Once, long ago, I had a massive strop because my suggestion to have 'just QS Green Triangles' got vetoed by the rest of the family.

Matchmakers.
