Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Cheshire is too poor for electronic timing :-( unless we do joint champs with Greater Manchester. 18:35.8 I was told by the officials (who just so happen to be my club officials too, so I can trust them to press the button at just the right time ;-) )

That’s ridiculous out-dated sexism CC2 at the County champs - 5000m is both sexes on the Saturday, and then 3000m for both on the Sunday. Locally our club leagues only run 3000m, so the County champs for me is the only chance to run a 5000m.

Re feature requests, I've asked for .00 of secs to be added for race times

I'm expecting 100% support from this thread ;-)

[Dashes off to support it]

Though does that upset my WAVAs when I round 2:40.7 to a time of 2:40 in the existing functionality?

I guess it would eventually, lol. But I'm sure we value accuracy on this thread ;-)

Have voted for, natch. I look up my actual WAVA percentages elsewhere but would be intrigued to see ACTUAL sprint times for the various 100ms that crop up every now and again.

Yeah TBH it is more important for sprints. Even 0.5 secs is an age in 100m.

Ran 4:27.23 for 1500m today. 0.07 off a PB! Made the rookie mistake of slowing down too much after first 100m as it felt fast. Should have gone to 300m and would have been in the second pack. Did catch all but one of that pack in the race but feels like I could have run better if I was braver. Ok opener but itching to get out there and run a better race now, but I'm racing sparingly this season due to injury that I'm still rehabbing (still got see if there's a reaction over the next few days).

If we pretend both races were at the same time, if the gun went off as I finished my PB race and a sprinter reacted as I finished my race today, they'd be disqualified, lol.

Track league back on tomorrow. Wondering whether to cruise around the 3k and see what I can actually do on fresh legs in the 1500m. Would be nice if the League put the races the other way around from time to time so I had the choice taken out of my hands!

If the 3000 is before the 1500, the answer is obvious, just do 1. If you're scoring then I guess you'll have to decide which one you can get more in and give that full effort.

Track league for me tomorrow as well, scoring in the 1500.
