Despite my humbug post a few pages back I decided to take a chance and go out. Picked a spot near Harrogate I've tried before, there were so many people there! And loads of cars coming past but got some nice shots. It was visible as a pale band across the sky. The photos looked much better than I thought when I got home.

Then I went home, looked out of the window, and saw an obvious red glow as well and changing green bands

So pleased to have finally seen it, and by eye too. My feeds are full of pics, including from my brother in Bucks and my cousin in Worthing!
