Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Trailblazer! We could be twins except that it'll look rancid with a Fetch top.

None of the skorts I have would go well with the Fetch vest I plan to wear. That's why I'm opting for.....

I think my New Balance running shoes aren't as bright a colour as Vrap's shoes. Shame cos we'd be shoe twins otherwise! 😉🤣

I will also be wearing my hydration vest like last year just because I like to sip lots as I go rather than drink at water stations only!

The shorts I wore last year only had one thigh pocket and I still managed to finish with five gels (I'd started out with two) and some jelly babies in it. But I won't have to carry a car key, which helps.

Yes, my shoes are particularly eye-scorching, even with some London mud ingrained in the uppers. They're the ones in my race photos from Sunday.

Good point! I need to find something to carry a couple of gels and my phone. The bum bag / pouch I used last year must be around somewhere. Just looked at the photos from last year..

I'd forgotten about the rainbow vest. Somehow I've managed to get snags all up the front. It's not wearable any more. :(

I had my strong skort last year and grabbed a bottle of water to supplement my drink on course - went in a pocket so I didn't have to carry it!
I also had a bum bag on as I carried a picnic which I won't be doing this year - I will leave that in the car haha

I think I had 5 gels last year. Was planning on taking 3 this time (mainly cos that is what I have left in the box! 🤪😂 but I think that'll be plenty for me on the shorter race distance) and I can always pick up more as I go along.
