Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The Great Raemondo
Hmmm, a pair of minor newts today - I met up with rugby friend to do the circuits in a park again (that's not it) and when we were doing kicking and passing afterwards I tried kicking with my left foot instead for the first time (because the right is the one with the bionic ankle, which was sore for days after doing kicking last week) and discovered I'm actually better with that than the right.
Then I was practicing line out throw ins (itself the first time in a long while) and finally cracked consistently getting a spiral rather a tumble on the ball.

I make that a pretty good morning :D
Time for a sausage sandwich.

Have just ordered pizza from the pizza van in Mum's village, thanks to the Fetch hive mind. Dio told me there was one and Lizzie gave me the link.

I have just been out for a run with a friend - and she always claims that whenever we run I take a route which means she has no idea where she is...had to think a bit this morning but managed one with a path leading to the woods that even I have never run down before (although I have walked the dog along there)

Not a totally new newt today but this morning I abandoned the planned ‘stuff’ that needed done to enjoy the gorgeous spring morning. Almost three hours through to the next village, along the beach and back. It was gorgeous.

I have been on the Flanci website and ordered my first patterned, or in fact anything but black, shorts and leggings. I will be heading to the appropriate thread when they arrive

Good choice HP!

I had a fabulous run with my friend first this year. We ate cake and scones and enjoyed them. The 5m turned into 7 and we chatted the whole way. Now for some yoga to get me a yoga Garmin badge.

Lent has a special and specific meaning to Christians but has become an secular season of denial and hair shirting that serves no positve purpose. No chocolate, no booze, no -er - other stuff.

Why not treat the build up to Easter - as a chance to celebrate and embrace NEW THINGS - that's what spring is about after all.

The first few pages of the thread give more ideas.
