I had hoped to have some money left to rip it all up, put laminate upstairs and a runner on the stairs... But I have run out of money. I have a beautiful pale grey concrete floor in my new building and am having a hard time convincing people that not carpeting it is a very very good idea! Imagine medicine making spills? And all the dust? I can now hoover and mop... Also, carpet in a bathroom????????? A very British thing.
