Ellie is used to me being here All The Time and plonks herself on my lap at certain times, whatever I'm doing. A regular slot is 10am before she settles down properly to snooze for the rest of the day.

Kyri update: he and Caspar are fairly OK now; Caspar still tends to avoid him but we also have times like yesterday when we found them snoozing on the same bed quite happily.
Ellie is going to be harder work. We've started bringing him into the lounge when she's there. If we play with him or if she's up high he ignores her, but if we weren't there I think he'd chase her.

He looks huge now because he's so fluffy!

Jemima still isn't exactly friends with Jerry - they're from the same litter and were adopted together because they seemed to get on (in 2006...). She really hates most other cats though: garden visitors are rapidly scared off. Jerry is generally tolerated.

I actually thought Kyri wasn't very fluffy when he first turned up but I think now that he was just so malnourished he didn't have much fur.
Now he has what OH calls "pantaloon" back legs, a big mane & (almost) the fluffiest tail I've ever seen.
