1step, I've been puzzling over your post up-page. Do you mean that you and Lennox have a weekly team meeting?

She is a big jobby. I have told her so. Not always using the Scots word either.

She continues to show no genuine remorse and only smuggery. Trying to hard to stay mad at her but I've no idea how to teach her that I don't approve. Probably impossible. Hence grounding.

Dvorak haha no, I was online with work and she often joins the team meeting as its around her dinner time and stares at everyone to inform them they are delaying her food. But this week decided to make quite a noise with the lid. (I previous meetings she has stood in full view of the camera and vomited 🤦‍♂️)

It slows down ITG as they get older. Mostly killer will take them outside now and the once a day tends to be only for limited periods. Prim continues to kill maybe twice a year, which was how our old cat was, but if they’re good at it, I think the only route is to make them house cats

Twice a year is reasonable but Peggý is a machine. 😔 I have grudging respect for her but it can't go on.

In my experience it really can. When every night was multiple episodes we locked her out or locked her in. We even tried over feeding her, which made her a more threatening bully without taking any edge off her skills or her appetite. But yes, I get the grudging respect

If one subscribes to the «drive» theory of motivation (googlable) one could speculate that cats (and dogs) have several drives that motivate them, such as to hunt, to crunch, and to relieve hunger. So they would still have an unrelieved drive to hunt when fed at home. That's to say, feeding them might only satisfy one or two of the drives. This belongs in the cat psychology book that I have never seen.

There are hunting toys you can use. Also she will keep bringing you better and better presents until you are satisfied. I think..

I am just so very pleased Lasya cannot be bothered with birds! She catches one opportunistic fledgling a year, if that.
She much, much prefers voles and mice.☺️☺️☺️ I forgive her bringing the corpses inside... Usually by the side of the sofa I sit on mostly, or by my bed...
