TBH I am fairly confident the supermarkets will sort things out pretty quickly. There is a limit to the amount of stocking up people will do, especially when they see shelves being refilled repeatedly.

There aren't actually any real shortages nor any reason to expect them.

GG, I could try but with items limited to 3 per order and lots out of stock items for all the common products it's unlikely to be useful. Might as well open it up for someone else (I'm sure it will get used if I cancel with a week to go).

FYI We had toilet roll not delivered today on our order. No throat lozenges or lemsip either.

That's fab Yumee. Of course its also advertising fees or when the world returns to normal, but still lovely.
Our hospital now has clean and dirty segregated areas and our PPE has been downgraded due to running out. Apparently for us, giving a nebuliser is not an "aerosol generating procedure" anymore.

Like a doctor said on BBC news, "lambs to the slaughter"

Fox got our chickens last year Dipps :-(

You're right TM, but am quite happy to advertise people who are doing the right thing at the mo. Sadly, you're also right about the PPE bollox.

(In a judgmental tone) went for a run around Guildford downs and ran into serious numbers of large family/ friend groups out for walks as if countryside good, pubs church etc bad. I guess if you pass the virus to family rather than strangers that's ok.

I also have a desire to mooch around the shops but don't need anything.

I think it's also relevant to point out that the only patients even being swabbed here are those whom are poorly enough to be admitted to hospital. And test results are now taking 5 days, so figures are 5 days behind reality.

I had a lady in her 80s last night who was almost definitely a Covid patient, but didn't meet criteria for transport to hospital so therefore not tested.
