Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Merry Christmas to you all I hope you had a good time whatever you were doing. Sorry to hear your plans were cha fed Ev, hope the cat is ok and you enjoy Ilfracoombe. Hope that knee is sorted soon and glad yours staying in the thread.

We enjoyed our day but it’s been a bit stressful for various reasons.

I’ve had a bit of a head cold lately woke this morning and cannot talk and think it’s headed south to my chest so no running for me. Based on my miles I’d like to get at least 2.5 in to round the year up so keeping my fingers crossed.

LL hope you got your 💯

Hope running continues to go well for everyone and hope you’re feeling better soon. Lesley.

Great to see you've done your 100th Park Run LL. Well done.
I'm on my third day not running! Christmas morning run with my wife didn't happen, we decided to break the tradition and enjoy the morning as it unfolded.

I've not felt like running and am really waiting for the new year target to start, even though it might be more challenging during 2023 as another year is under the belt of age😂.
Get well soon gg, hopefully just another 2.5 will be easy enough to do before the year's end.
And I hope anyone else with lurgies, poorly cats and difficult travel situations gets through the holiday days reasonably well

Sorry to hear that your Christmas plans were spoilt Evangel, but I hope you enjoy Ilfracombe.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling "under the weather " GG, but hope that you will be able to get those 2.5 miles in to round off the year.

Good luck with your running plans next year Steve.

Congratulations LL for achieving your 100th parkrun and 50 volunteers.

I had a very enjoyable social 6.36 miles this morning with some club runner friends.

Well done LL on your 100.

Our Christmas plans changed too due to ill family. Doing something on New Year's Day instead.

Hope you feel better soon GG.

Good running everyone 🙂.

I did the village fun run this morning, it's 5k. Would have been better with ice skates in places. Glad I did it and felt better than the other days run. So happy with that. Hoping I am finally on the mend too.

Evening all, slight tones of Dixon of Dock Green but I was too young for the show personally.
Congratulations on your 100th parkrun and 50th volunteering LL.
New year and new targets start in less than a week and Steve is already making plans, good luck with them everyone.
Sounds like an eventful run Lesley, pleased you stayed upright and enjoyed it too, good to hear you're on the mend.
Well done hillstrider for this morning's club social run.
Evangel, hopefully the new year will bring better luck with your running than this year has ended.
Just a 5 mile walk along the beach this afternoon for myself, my wife, son and soon to be daughter in law walking their dog. Hopefully I'll get a run tomorrow.
