Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Nice pic hs!
Lucky escape with that gate.
Good going FF.
B***** intervals done!! ( I've kept them up despite my previous poor attempts).
Chilly morning again, 2c but the wind had gone.

Did someone mention my name 🤔😂

Long run done 14.1m (rounding up yesterdays error) & from now they get shorter!! But I’ve so far ran 49m this month!

It was very bright lovely blue skies but a bit nippy the neighbours were driving their cars when I left.

However I plotted myself a new route today that was lovely although exceptionally muddy in places and somehow I picked my road shoes not trails off the shelf in error. I half expected having a dip in the river but I managed to stay upright.

Another longish one tomorrow as well but I’ve got my friend for company for half of it.

Thanks Steve, the picture was a bit flattering of me,I thought. Yes, the gate is quite heavy, and at the side of a cattle grid. The force of the wind wanted to close it before I had passed right through. Well done for persisting with intervals.

Well done for another long run GG, especially good for being on a new route. I hope you enjoy tomorrow's long run, partly with a friend. I suppose a purist would say that you are not supposed to enjoy training runs, but I disagree. If I didn't enjoy running, I probably wouldn't run, the exceptions being during hard intervals and hill reps.

This morning, went for a hair cut, not that I have much, as you will have seen from our photo. My hair dresser is also a runner, so we mainly chat running whilst she is cutting. She has recently had Covid, as have most of my running friends.

Good running everyone. Like the pic HS :-)

6.5 miles this morning, it was another cold one and quite windy too. It was 6.45 outside my house so had to round it up. Not sure what the weekend plans are yet. I do have a route in mind depending on other plans.

Long run (!) done, 7 miler. That IS my upper limit currently. Superb sunny morning although only 1c when I started.
I generally run whatever extra is needed to get a reasonably whole figure if I'm using tech! My wife won't! If I'm not using tech and on well known long standing routes I just make sure that I take the longest lines possible around corners etc so that I'm not cheating myself!
Good outing there gg even if a bit muddy, good job you dodged an unplanned dip!

Well done Lesley in your runs too.

Off out shortly for another longish one. I’m exhausted 😂 I might just sleep all day tomorrow

Well done Steve, hopefully a productive week with intervals and your long run.

Because I'm travelling tomorrow I've done my long run today. I'll hide the figure of 18.5 miles so as not to upset Steve ;-)

Well done Steve upping your mileage today, and including intervals in your weekly schedule.

Have a good long run today GG.

Well done FF for your long? run today.

A lovely morning, but a cold wind. I ran a very relaxing solo 8 miles in the forest, enjoying the sunshine 🌞 and lovely scenery. I took some photos, and this one is of "the roller coaster," so called as there are 3 hills up and down, one after the other.
